Hello all and Happy Holidays!
I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year.
As we close out the year, I’ve spent a lot of time walking the floor at Maid Marian Way. I am proud to say that it is all coming together. The atmosphere on site has shifted from a building project to a high-performance institution.
The most significant change you’d notice today is underfoot. The luxury flooring is now fully installed across the facility. This isn't just rubber and laminate; it is a specialist, high-density performance surface engineered to handle the sheer tonnage of the equipment we have arriving. It’s sleek, it’s durable, and it completes that elite feel we’ve been working toward.
While the rest of the world is easing into the New Year, we are shifting into fifth gear. January is the month our gym truly comes to life.
We have confirmed the delivery and installation of our world-class machinery from Gym80 and Core Health and Fitness. This is the best equipment in the world, period. But it’s not just the training floor; we are also installing the bespoke machinery for our Performance Café and Retail Shop on the ground floor, alongside our new reception hub.
From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, the equipment you interact with will be the best in the industry.

Hi, this looks very exciting. One quick question: will the gym include additional facilities such as a spa, swimming pool, etc.?

When I first started going to Castle Gym in the early '80s, the atmosphere was so electric you could feel the energy, and everyone was completely focused on what they were doing. Hopefully will get to feel that sort of intensity again. I'm really looking forward to the opening of a hardcore gym for serious trainers, without students hogging the machines and taking selfies. 💪💪
