RAY'S CASTLE GYM NEWS OCTOBER 2025

Well, folks, we’ve hit that stage of the build where things might look a little 'settled' from the outside, but believe me, the action inside Castle Gym this month has been non-stop. October has been all about perfecting the hidden framework that will turn this giant space into Nottingham’s first true super gym.

Plastering Complete!

It’s a massive milestone that sounds simple, but getting all the walls and ceilings plastered and finished is huge. It means the building’s internal skeleton is complete and we can now really see the shape of the place. It’s hard to describe the sheer scale of the space we have now…especially those two massive mezzanine levels…but walking through it, you get a genuine feel for the unparalleled environment we are creating for you. The Gym80 equipment is going to look incredible against these clean, high-quality finishes.

VIPs and Local Icons on Site

The excitement around the Maid Marian Way site is definitely building. This month, we had two very special visits that really validated the quality of what we're building:

1. Guy Phoenix (Nottinghamshire Legend): It was a real privilege to have Guy tour the site. He knows quality construction better than anyone, and getting his nod of approval on the attention to detail we are putting into every corner was a huge confidence boost for the whole team.

2. Nottinghamshire Live: We welcomed the team from Nottinghamshire Live who spent time on site to see the tAransformation first-hand. Keep an eye out for their upcoming article, which gives a fantastic, honest look at the scale of this independent project. We’re incredibly proud to be making headlines right here in the city.

Final Call for Corporate Event (Nov 12th)
